High Protein Vegan Sausage Sandwich
Heard the new craze at Dunkin’s new Beyond Sausage Sandwich!
Well if you’re vegan you can’t have it without egg and cheese. You’re left off with bread and the beyond sausage.
Let me show you a how to really veganize this sandwich with the works and nothing extracted out. It’s cheaper, has more nutrients, and healthier for you!
- 1 Multigrain English Muffin
- 1 Slice Plant Based Smoked Gouda
- 1 Boca Vegan Turkey Patty
- 1/2 Cup Chopped Mushrooms
- 1/4 Cup Chopped Onions
- 85g Extra Firm Tofu
- Dash Turmeric
- Dash Black Pepper
- Dash Black Salt
- Liquid Aminos
- Protein 33g
- Carbs 42
- Fat 12g
First you want to cook the tofu scramble. This will be your “egg” take the onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, and garlic and do a quick stir fry. Then place the tofu and smash and stir it all together.
Add all the seasonings to the dish. Turmeric, black salt, and black pepper.
While that is cooking place the boca turkey patty in the airfryer and let it cook for 3 – 5 mins.
Once the tofu scramble “eggs” is done. Place the English muffin and the vegan cheese in the airfryer with the sausage. Place the cheese on top of the sausage and cook for another 1 min.
Place everything on the plate and build your sandwich. That’s all and I hope you enjoy!
