Can You Be Vegan In The Military?
I was in the military for eight years. I served four years fully active in the United States Marine Corps and another four years in the United States Navy Reserves.
In the USMC, I wasn’t vegan at the time, but when I joined the US Navy, that’s was when I transitioned to a vegan lifestyle.
It was easy for me to transition, but in the reserves, it’s part-time. So I had all the resources I could get to make that transition.
As a vegan coach, I’ve trained many military service members and made it possible to go vegan and stay vegan throughout my program.
I even trained an individual who deployed to Iraq and was able to stay vegan throughout the whole deployment.
In the military, they have something called a PX or public exchange, which is aka “grocery store” on every military base.
Military bases do have vegan options in the store since more people, in general, are moving towards whole food plant-based diet.
I want to share my student Brandon Futrell from Osaka, Tokyo, who’s in the United States Marine Corps, which loss 27 lbs (12kg) in 9 weeks within my program as a vegan.
He wanted first to inspire his marines to live a better and healthier lifestyle since leading by example plays a significant role in the military.
Also, he wanted to optimize his health and physical attributes to serve his country USA the best way possible without cheating uncle’s same taxpayers’ money.
I have known that feeling since I was a marine myself, and I’m always willing to help others reach the top when it comes to their jobs, goals, and inspirations!
It’s not about just helping people get ripped and look good. It’s about assisting others in reaching heights they never thought they could achieve.
I salute Brandon Futrell for protecting his country but also for this fantastic testimonial!
Would you like to get a ripped six-pack like this Marine?

Special thanks to my coach @bodyhd_fitness Paulius for helping Brandon to get ripped!
