Fat Loss Can Be A Long Journey!
My mom has been struggling with weight loss for the majority of her life.
You may know how that feels as well?
She was comfortable with how she looked and feel for a very long time until she was diagnosed with diabetes.
I got scared and didn’t want my mom to die from a health-related disease that’s reversible.
In 2018 I was able to convince her to go vegan.
Within the first three months, she lost 25 lbs from just switching out her foods. I had her join my online program, but she never attempted it and gave up.
She thought the changes she made were enough, and no matter how much I tried talking to her, she never made another attempt. She slowly introduced dairy and vegan processed foods back into her lifestyle until diabetes poisons her body.
She was forced to take medication, and the doctors advise her to go on a plant-based diet.
That’s still wasn’t enough until I went to her home and did a kitchen makeover. I went military on my mom and dumped all the processed foods that were killing her and replaced it with whole food plants.
I forced her to do my program to the letter and didn’t take no for an answer!
She has lost 73 lbs so far within my program. She has more to go, but sometimes radical changes require radical actions, especially those you love.
My mom is thrilled that I was tuff on her because her mindset on life has changed.
She’s more positive. She started to go to school, graduated with a bachelor’s degree, and made it on the dean’s list!
She started to create her own business and was able to get rid of her walking cane.
Pain in her knees and back have diminished.
Her energy levels are increasing while getting better quality sleep.
The food you eat can affect your outlook on life! That’s why I promote eating food that has life and not food that’s from death.
Let’s continue to cheer my mom to lose another 100 lbs so she can beat diabetes and live a healthy lifestyle!
