High Protein Buddha Mex-Bowl!
Have you ever meet a Mexican Buddhist?
I haven’t, but this is what I think they would be eating for lunch.
It is one of my favorite fast meal preps when it comes to my high carb days.
Best dish when it comes to building lean muscle mass!
Macronutrients (1 Serving)
- Protein: 42g
- Carbs: 100g
- Fat: 20g
- 1/2 Bag Cuban Black Beans @fillosamericasmade
- 210g Extra Firm Tofu
- 51g Avocado
- 1 cup Brown Rice (cooked)
- 1/4 cup White Onions (chopped)
- 50g Bell Peppers
- 6 Garlic Cloves (chopped)
- Olive Oil Spray
- 2 – 3 tbsp Liquid Aminos
Nonstick Pan @hexclad
Use a rice cooker to make your brown rice.
Spray olive oil in a nonstick pan on medium heat and sauté your onions, bell peppers, and garlic.
Take your liquid and pour it in a zip lock bag. Add your tofu into the bag and let it marinate for 5 mins.
Remove your cooked veggies and build your plate and now cook your tofu.
Take the Filo’s Black Beans and cook it in the microwave as directed on the bag.
Once you finished cooking the tofu and black beans, go ahead and build your dish.
