How to Do a Leg Lift

Learn How to Do a Leg Lift.

In today’s exercise, I am going to demonstrate how to do a leg lift. This is one great exercise for activating the core. A wonderful thing about this exercise is that you don’t require any weights to perform it. This means that you can do it at home, at the office or pretty much anywhere you go. All you need to have is space and a mat. Mats are good for comfortability while exercising. Here is the way to go about it.

The first thing you want to do is go ahead and lay down on your back with your legs straightened out. After getting comfortable in this position, move both hands underneath your back and keep them there. That is a relatively easy position to get into.

Without removing your hands from their position, raise your head a few inches off the ground and keep your legs together. This is crucial for the exercise. Lift both legs from the ground to the farthest point that they will go without causing movement to other parts of your body. Try to make all up and down movements uniform.

You will feel a lot of activation in your abs, which is a good sign. Repeat these movements severally.

Thanks for watching and that’s my guide on how to do a leg lift..
